How the photo puzzle works

Open My Cats, choose one image with Apple’s system photo picker, crop it, and create the puzzle. The app generates a local puzzle image and thumbnail so you can return to it later. The first personal puzzle is included. My Cat Studio is an optional one-time unlock for unlimited personal creations; deleting the first puzzle does not restore the included creation. Optional extras are one-time unlocks. Apple shows the current price in your local App Store, and prices can vary by region. Purchases can be shared with Family Sharing when that is enabled on the Apple Account.

What stays on your device

Whisker Atlas removes embedded camera, EXIF, and location metadata during import. The optimized image, thumbnail, crop settings, and puzzle progress are saved in the app’s local storage. The app has no account, analytics, advertising, tracking, third-party crash reporting, or app-owned network service. Your selected photo is not uploaded by Whisker Atlas.

Sharing is your choice

A completed puzzle can create a local completion card. Apple’s share sheet opens only after you choose to share, and the service you select then handles the shared item under its own privacy practices.
